Fresh Spam
I noticed a couple of new trends in Spam lately, I got a top on stock quotes with "insider information" which I thought was cute, for the first time, that is. The other thing I recently got is something that I like to call Reverse Live Adress Verifying. Are you familiar with "You send a mail to Bob, please click this link to verify you are a real person." type of mails?
I got one of those to someone I never send an email to in my life, and from an adress I don't use. I tend to believe that cliking on the link would confirm the adress as a live one, which would boost it ranking.
Another annoying thing is spam to register in a new and exicting blog directory, which just mean that I'll never go to that site. On general, I don't have a problem with personal unsolicited email. I get quite a few help requests, in various subjects, and I like to help people, but as a hint, if you think of including me in a list of emails that I did not ask to join, that is going to piss me off, and the the mail is on its way to the trash bin, and most further emails would head this way authomatically.
